ABOUT DEPARTMENT
Greetings from the Department of Electrical Engineering, Government Polytechnic, Jagatsinghpur. In 2022, the Department of Electrical Engineering was established with students intake capacity of 60. Electrical engineering provides a broad spectrum of fundamental scientific knowledge and offers programs in both the electrical and electronics domains. The faculties, who are highly qualified and experienced, have taken on the bold task of producing competent electrical engineers who can handle the new problems. This department creates well-equipped laboratories to help students acquire the necessary practical knowledge while adhering to an outcome-based education curriculum in keeping with the rapidly advancing technologies. Students are inspired and driven to take on difficult assignments. Projects, an industrial visit, and summer training are all carefully scheduled to keep students abreast of technological advancements.
