The department of Chemical Engineering was started since inception of the institution. Chemical Engineering, the development of processes and the design and operation of plants in which materials under go changes in their physical or chemical state. The major laboratories are Heat Transfer Lab., Mass Transfer Lab. etc. 

These laboratories are fully equipped with various modern  equipments such as Belt Conveyor,Cyclone Separator,Reynolds Apparatus,Fractional Distillation Unit,Single Effect & Multiple Effect Evaporator,Sieve Plate Distillation Column,Steam Distillation Setup etc.
